When you read Luke Chapter One, about the event that surrounds the Birth of John the Baptist. The Bible said that John's mother, Elizabeth was barren. And she was called barren by neighbors and relatives. Now notice in vs 24, as she became pregnant, she went into seclusion for five months.

Lessons To Learn From Elizabeth

1. She went into seclusion so that her testimony will not be doubted when people hear it.

2. She didn't tell the world that she was pregnant, instead she allowed the pregnancy to do the talking.

3. Even if she was unsure of the pregnancy signs she was having, she has to seclude herself to be very sure. That's not faithlessness, it's Wisdom.

4. First/early pregnancy stage is not a time for jamboree, it's a time to be careful of what you do, what you eat and where you go. To avoid careless miscarriages. Use your head.
