Topic: Don't Pity Jonah!

Word: Jonah 1:15 NLT
Then the sailors picked Jonah up and threw him into the raging sea, and the storm stopped at once!

Here's My Take:

What Jonah stands for…

6. Silent Saboteur:
How to know the Silent Saboteur…

b. There are Jonahs who, when they enter a family, things will change immediately. The peace, oneness, unity, and togetherness that the family once enjoyed will disappear. Suddenly, everyone begins to fight one another. They start dragging property. People who used to eat together will begin to avoid one another out of fear and suspicion.

Some Jonahs enter families through relationships or marriage. Once they arrive, everything changes. Fights and quarrels that never existed begin to show up. Brothers turn into enemies. Sisters become strangers. The atmosphere becomes tense.

Imagine a family that should be experiencing progress and prosperity, yet instead everything begins to reduce—simply because a Jonah is in the building. That person becomes the “lion” of the family, controlling and scattering everything. I pity the man or woman who allows a Jonah to dominate their home.

Conclusion:
How can you sleep peacefully and feel comfortable knowing that after you entered a family—whether as a wife, a husband, a friend, or even a relative—peace, happiness, and unity suddenly disappeared? Something is very, very wrong.

Song:
To worship You I live
To worship You I live
I live to worship You
To worship You I live
To worship You I live
I live to worship You

Prayer:
Lord, any Jonah hiding around us be exposed. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
