Don’t jump into a relationship because you want to prove a point. Don’t enter a relationship because you want to punish someone who disappointed you, or because you want them to see that you are still relevant with or without them.
Some people today, because someone they were in a relationship with disappointed them, rush into another relationship they are not prepared for — just so their ex won’t think they are irrelevant without them. The funny part is that some even fix their wedding around the same time their ex fixes theirs.
You don’t need to put yourself through all of that or punish yourself for the rest of your life just to prove a point to nobody.
