“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.”
If everyone in the Church truly lived by this Scripture, evil would have little or no place in our society. I say this because a large portion of the world identifies with the Church.
Ironically, when you decide to live according to this standard, the same people in the Church may call you “too righteous.”
This is why the life of Christ is not tied to a building, but to a personal relationship with God. It is that personal walk that reflects light into the world.
When individuals truly become the light, society automatically becomes a safer place.
