Topic: When Beauty Fades, What Next?!
Word: Proverbs 31:30 NLT
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
Here's My Take:
When Beauty Fades, What Next?! We'll be looking at what is likely going to happen when Beauty Fades.
5. Abandonment:
When Beauty Fades, you are on your own.
Just like we have been saying on this topic, nobody sends you, when your Beauty Fades. If you like be the President or Governor or whatever. You stop being relevant when you no longer have relevance.
I remembered one time Deputy Governor of my state. Who would have believed that one day, he'll be in a queue, waiting for his turn? Lols. When he was in that exalted sit, he never had time for people. People hardly access him. Moving up and down with convoys and entourage. But after 8 wasted years in office, he came to join the queue to collect pension.
That was so funny, but disgusting at the same time. After serving as the Deputy Governor, nobody saw him, until the day he came to collect his pension. His follow pensioners that came to collect their pension nearly beat him up that day. It was God that saved him. They reminded him how cruel he was while in the office, as Deputy Governor.
Conclusion:
Nobody cares about you anymore, once what they used to benefit from you cease to come or once relevance is no longer relevant.
Song:
Daily as I live
Often as I breathe
Let my whole life be expressions of your grace
We cry Abba father
Hallowed be your name
Hallowed be your name
Hallowed be your name
We cry Abba father
Prayer:
Lord, may we not only be relevant when we are in office. Amen.
