What Jonah stands...
1. Disaster: One of the significant roles of Jonah is to cause disaster. Anywhere Jonah enters, peace disappears. When Jonah entered the ship, the storm arose. He carried trouble without even knowing it. That’s how some attitudes we tolerate bring chaos into our lives. When disobedience boards your ship, expect turbulence. There are some people or habits that attract storms the moment they enter your life.
Jonah represents those disobedient choices that seem harmless at first, but cost you later. He slept comfortably while others were fighting for their lives. That’s how certain behaviors destroy silently, resting while your destiny shakes. Every ship that carries Jonah will eventually face a storm.
Disaster doesn’t just happen; it’s often invited. Sometimes it’s not the devil attacking — it’s Jonah sleeping inside your boat. No matter how much you pray, the sea won’t calm until Jonah goes. You can fast, cry, and shout, but the storm obeys only one instruction — throw Jonah out! Jonah may look valuable, but he’s dangerous to your peace. He can be a friend, a habit, a mindset, or even a secret sin.
