Here's My Take:
Intro:
Jonah is a name of a person. Not just a person, he was a man called by God as a Prophet and also as an Evangelist, due to the assignment given to him by God Almighty. So the name Jonah is a good and beautiful name. Even though it's a regular name, for the fear of being swallowed by fish. Hahaha.
But according to our context, the Jonah we'll be discussing is not the man. But the things we would depict from the attitude, actions and behavior of the man. We listed them yesterday, we said Jonah stands for someone whose stubbornness caused people their fortune. Someone because of his selfish ambition caused people to lose out of destiny.
Someone because of his disobedience, made life miserable for others. Someone with zero empathy. Someone that is cunny and crafty. Someone that nothing will ever make him change his mind, except death. Someone with zero regard to the consequences of his actions. Someone who delights in doing his will, irrespective of whom it may affect. And many more...
Conclusion:
This Jonah is not hard to find. Because he's everywhere; in our family, work place, compound, among colleagues, even in the Church.
