Intro:
Yesterday we were asked, what comes into our minds, when the name Jonah" is mentioned? We were told that so many will imagine a picture of a fish that swallowed a person.
For me, which I believe is not only me, what comes into my mind, at the mention of Jonah is someone whose stubbornness caused people their fortune. Someone because of his selfish ambition caused people to lose out of destiny. Someone because of his disobedience, made life miserable for others. Someone with zero empathy. That's why he could sleep when the storm was raging.
Someone with zero regard to the consequences of his actions. Someone who delights in doing his will, irrespective of whom it may affect. Someone who's stiff-necked. Someone who's ready to die, than to help anybody. Someone who's willing to die than to accepts corrections. Someone that is very stubborn and arrogant.
Conclusion:
Don't Pity Jonah, unless you've made up your mind to lose almost everything..then go ahead..
