When Beauty Fades, What Next?! We'll be looking at what is likely going to happen when Beauty Fades.
4. Vulnerable:
I noticed that the National Pledge
"I pledge to Nigeria my country. To be faithful, loyal and honest. To serve Nigeria with all my strength. To defend her unity, and uphold her honour and glory." is not taken seriously in this country. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's my observation.
If our current Leaders understood the words of this National Pledge, they would have resigned. Looking at the words of the National Pledge, you will see the mindset of a Leader. You'll know that he had good intentions for the nation. And he never dreamt of having a time when the nation would be full of men(Leaders) with zero sympathy and empathy.
He never dreamt of having a time when the country would be full of unfaithful, disloyal and dishonest men. Men that have nothing to offer but to eat down the country. Men that won't defend the unity, nor uphold her honour and glory. Rather they use nepotism, banditry, killing, witch-hunting, tribalism, fraud, etc to manipulate the nation.
Congratulations:
When who will save a child is the one beating her up, who will she then run to?! When the People that would have saved this nation are the people destroying her, who will then save us?!
