Topic: When Beauty Fades, What Next?!
Word: Proverbs 31:30 NLT
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
Here's My Take:
When Beauty Fades, What Next?! We'll be looking at what is likely going to happen when Beauty Fades.
4. Vulnerable:
Finally on this subject...When Beauty Fades the person becomes vulnerable. Instead of being better s/he will become the worst version of him or herself. This is why when the Beauty of a guy fades(when he loses his fortune), instead of finding a solution or seeking counsel, he ends up drinking, smoking and living a miserable life.
This has made me ask why is that when people are frustrated, disappointed, etc, they result in drinking? Who taught them that that's the way to handle such a situation?! Where did they learn it from, and who invented that?
This is why I don't encourage this part of the act in a movie. They're encouraging people to seek wine, instead of counseling or prayers. And our girls are taught that prostitution is an act of frustration. Now our young people are choosing that path as a way out. Which is very very dangerous. Because the future is in trouble.
Conclusion:
When your Beauty Fades, what next?! Do you become vulnerable or do you encourage yourself in the Lord?
Song:
I'll praise in the valley
Praise on the mountain (yeah)
I'll praise when I'm sure
And praise when I'm doubting (yes, sir)
I'll praise when outnumbered
Praise when surrounded
'Cause praise is the water
My enemies drown in
As long as I'm breathing
I've got a reason to
Prayer:
May the Lord give us the Grace to overcome in Jesus name. Amen.
