Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
This portion of the Bible is a clear evidence that no form of sin(bitterness, envy, hatred, malice, backbiting, etc) should be found(rooted, remain) in the Church. Confessing one to another(telling one another if you feel offended, apologizing when you offend someone, etc).
When we do this, our Prayers, in righteousness(one mind/heart/spirit) will become Powerful and Effective.
