Two children can approach their father for a particular thing, differently. You'll be surprised how their Father will give it to one and refuse to give to the other. Why? How? Because of their approach and their presentations.
Same way, two people can pray for a particular thing, one will receive answers immediately, while the other won't. The two Prayed, Yes. But how they approached and presented their needs determines how and when their answers will comes. Same with you...
