Here's My Take:
Intro:
"When Beauty Fades" what next?! Growing up as a young man, I had so much regard and value for those with pretty faces(boys/girls). In fact I found them interesting, and will always speak well about them. Though not withstand how I see them, I was still careful not to get more closer(to the females).
But as time went on, I began to see that majority with extremely beautiful/handsome faces, has no pretty brain. Pardon me, because I'm speaking from my observation. Yours could be different. I observed that these people put more effort to remain prettily relevant.
But put a very little effort to develop their brain and their Character. Don't ask me why there is so much moral decadence in our societies, you have the answers with you. Because where the interest of a person is, will definitely occupy his/her mind.
Conclusion:
The world(media, entertainment industries, society, etc) are not helping matters, they're tools encouraging frivolities more than they encourage educational/moral contents.
