Topic: When Beauty Fades, What Next?!
Word: Proverbs 31:30 NLT
Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
Here's My Take:
Just like we said yesterday, many pretty faces/physiques today, believe that they can't have such assets and keep it to themselves, without making profits from it. When I came into this City, there was a man I used to come around his shop. I usually hangout, whenever I come back from work, and feel bored.
Around last year when I lost my job, I was frequenting there. And I was using that opportunity to tell the men that comes around there that I was looking for a job. One day, one of the men I'd told about the job said to me "well, to get a job these days is very difficult...why not try gigolo"
When he said that, the owner of the shop told him, "he's not like that!" Do you know the funniest part, that was the first time I heard that word. The man didn't stop, he said that I have what they need. From the way he was talking, he was ready to link me up. Because he believes that once you look good, you're an asset.
Conclusion:
When beauty or good physique fails, what next? You'll find out that majority of them are empty
Song:
I can see Him from afar
With fire in His eyes
He′s standing by your door
He's waiting for you
Chorus:
I see Him standing by the door
With fire in His eyes
And healing in His wings
To heal someone who believes
So open up your heart
He′s waiting for you
Prayer:
Oh Lord, help my generation. Amen.
