WHAT IF?

Topic: WHAT IF?

There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

Here's My Take:

WHAT IF as it's seen in...

4. Tomorrow: When I was much younger I set some clauses of how the woman I should marry should be. If I mention them, you'll laugh me to skull. But as the stages of my life kept unfolding, I found out that those clauses were just a yoke I deliberately put myself into. Men and brethren, do you know that because of those clauses, I lost very good and nice people.

I was sharing with a sister, she told me that she too has lost good people, she would have ended up with. It happened that her own clauses were higher than mine. She still holds onto some of them. And not ready to let go.

As a young person, if you're still shouting, the person I will marry must be white s/he must be brown, s/he must be tall, s/he must be from my tribe, Church, etc. I will tell you to be ready to lose good people. It's a yoke you should pull yourself out from. Because by Tomorrow you'll realize that you just wasted your time for nothing.

Conclusion:

There's no difference between "working by sight" and the foundation of our today's Christian marriage selection. Majority doesn't pray before considering, instead we weigh people's size, pocket, colour, shape, etc. But tomorrow will make us understand...

Song:

Lay your hands upon me Lord

Lay your hands on me

Lay your hands on me

O Lord I need your hands

Prayer:

Oh Lord, may we not live in regret tomorrow. Amen.
