And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
There's this saying that says if you can't beat them, then join them. That's not for a Christian. As Christians If you can't beat them, you flee. Avoid any sin/association/lifestyle that will affect your relationship with God.
We are commanded not to be conformed to this world: this world is not our home.
