Topic: Recommendation Birth Condemnation
Word: Luke 7:20 NLT
John’s two disciples found Jesus and said to him, “John the Baptist sent us to ask, ‘Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?’”
Here's My Take:
Example Of Recommendation That Birth Condemnation:
Biblical Characters:
10. John The Baptist: Yesterday we raised a striking point which I would like us to look into. John The Baptist was disappointed when the Master didn't show up, immediately, and he doubted if truly He was the Messiah. We went further to say this is why so many people gave up about God/Church. They expect everything to happen without delay.
Some years ago I had these two Facebook friends from Spain. I can't remember how I became friends with them, but we'll chat and they were teaching me Spanish. It was later that I realized that one was an atheist, and the other is a Christian.
As I tried to make her understand that God exists, she refused. In her words she said "if God exists, why didn't God give her job" "why are people in hospital, why are people dying, suffering, etc. As I pushed harder she warned me to respect her religion. And she later unfriended me. Since then I have been imagining what else she was told to believe that God doesn't exist.
Conclusion:
If you're in her shoes, and the reason why you're doubting the existence of God is because of earthly things, God said "blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. Matthew 11:6 KJV
Song:
I'll praise in the valley
Praise on the mountain
I'll praise when I'm sure
And praise when I'm doubting
I'll praise when outnumbered
Praise when surrounded
'Cause praise is the water
My enemies drown in
As long as I'm breathing
I've got a reason to
Praise the Lord
Oh, my soul (c'mon)
Prayer:
Lord please deliver us from the spirit of fear and doubt, in Jesus name. Amen..
