Here's My Take:
Let's refresh our minds on the topic of our discussion. Recommendation Birth Condemnation" when one allows the recommendation(accolades, cheers, celebration, applause, etc) to get into his head. This always happens when our focus is about the applause of men. When we do things to please Men, instead of praising God.
Recommendation Birth Condemnation when we do not put God first; when we do not recognize the place of God in the Successes that comes our way. It happens when we think we're running/succeeding by our might/skills.
There's nothing wrong in receiving accolades from people for a good performance or for a job well done. But what matters is who receives the praise after?! Who do you think is behind your successes, your strength or God, your skills or God?! Don't forget that everything you have and can boast of, comes from God. Selah.
Conclusion:
When we don't know our limits as man, we'll encroach into the Territory of the Almighty.
