1. King Herod: remember we're trying to show us how the Pride of the heart works. Even though it doesn't make noise, it's effect is very loud. That was what we observed could be the reason Herod was destroyed. God taught me a lesson that I can never forget because of pride of the heart.
Years ago when I was at the City of Abuja. I was privileged to serve in a particular Church as one of the Choristers. By God's Grace I was doing well. Because of that, my Pastor appointmented me to sing during the reception of the wedding of one of our Church member. Than another guy was told to sing during Church service.
While he was singing in the Church, "in my heart" I said "you people have not seen anything yet! If I handle the Mic you people will be shocked!" And God heard me. Men and brethren, that was how I lost courage and songs to sing. In fact couldn't do anything. The same guy that sang in Church took the Mic from me, and finish work.

Conclusion:
Pride of the heart is very difficult to trace. You won't believe it's in you, unless God reveals it to you. May God help us.
