Topic: Recommendation Birth Condemnation
Word: Daniel 4:33 ESV
Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles’ feathers, and his nails were like birds’ claws.
Here's My Take:
Example Of Recommendation That Birth Condemnation:
Biblical Characters:
2. King Nebuchadnezzar: One thing you will not take away from Kings is their ego, pride and arrogance. In fact any King that has no ego will look small and inferior before his fellow kings. Their ego is part of their majestic nature. Whenever any king receives this salutation "Live Forever O King!" And some other enchantments.
His ego will rise and he'll begin to say things. Some will make promises that will be very difficult to withdraw from; just like King Herod made to the daughter of his brother's widow. It is in the multitude of their saying that most of them will say things God hates.
What implicated King Nebuchadnezzar was this "Is not this great Babylon, which I have built by my mighty power as a royal residence and for the glory of my majesty?” Maybe his people have been hailing him, commending his great works. He looked at them and boasted. And God heard him.
Conclusion:
It's imperative we watch our language, especially when we're in a position of authority. It may not mean anything to us, but God is listening.
Song:
You are the Odogwu, The Mighty Warrior
I call you Agaba, Miracles happen
When I Worship You, More than Enough for me
It's my Joy to Worship You
Prayer:
Lord may we not become a shadow of ourselves because of pride in Jesus name. Amen.
