4. DANIEL TO SHADRACH, MESHACH AND ABEDNEGO: Those who speak fairly behind us, when our matters are deliberated, are far better than those that does that in our presence. These are the people we need more in our lives. Because they're real and honest. They're the Best.
Zero Pretence, no eye service. Whatever they said behind us speaks volume of who we're. This was who Daniel was to the three Hebrew Young men. It wouldn't take Daniel anything, if he chose to ignore them, and work alone or work with other guys, apart from the three Hebrews. But he spoke to the King on their behalf.
There are people their friendship is only for eating, drinking, praying or attending Church together. But when it comes to other assistance, friendship ends. Have you been around people that can tell you everything you need to do to make Heaven, but when you're in need of what they have in excess, they'll start another sermon?! Their kinda friendship is called Friendship without benefit.
Conclusion:
Daniel had every right to work for the King alone, but he refused to allow selfishness to drive him. A man like Daniel....!
