Word: Galatians 6:10 NLT
Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.
Here's My Take:
Biblical Catalysts Of Favours:
3. JONATHAN TO DAVID: What a friend like Jonathan! Imagine someone defending a friend, even when it's obvious that your Father will lose his Throne, and someone else will inherit it. It also means that Jonathan will never inherit the Throne, as the heir to the throne. But Jonathan saw those, yet insist on standing on what is right.
This made me to ask myself, how much Righteous can I be, to stand by what is right, like Jonathan, even if it means losing everything?! This has made me also to check around me, if there's someone reading this, who is a Jonathan?
It takes one who doesn't hold on to this life to be a Jonathan; even when s/he will be at loss. This is a picture of what Jesus said in Matthew 16:25 NIV "For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it." Jonathans doesn't care losing including their lives, as long as righteousness prevails.
Conclusion:
God has made us voices to the voiceless, but the challenge is that majority refused to let their voices to be heard. Unless when they're been affected. Be a Jonathan
Song:
What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer
O what peace we often forfeit
O what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer
Prayer:
Father give us Jonathan in every area of our concern in Jesus name. Amen.
