3. JONATHAN TO DAVID: Jonathan the son of King Saul, strategically was a ladder to the Kingship of David. It was recorded in the Bible how he protected David, countless times, from his Father, King Saul.
King Saul wanted David dead at all cost, because he was loved by the people. But the King's jealousy, envy and wickedness made him want to destroy him at the slightest. Jonathan stood behind David, against his father, to ensure all his evil plans against David didn't work out (2 Samuel 20).
The way to the top can't just come without a catalyst. No man has climbed to the top of the mountain of his career without a catalyst working behind the scenes. Jonathan against all odds worked behind the scenes, to ensure that David lived to fulfill his purpose on earth.
Conclusion:
Any man with a good catalyst will have a life full of crises. If not Jonathan, maybe, there may not have been King David. Thank God for a man like Jonathan.
