Here's My Take:
CATALYST(As A Teacher): There are teachers that are referred as born teachers. They may not be naturally very intelligent, but they naturally have a way to make one understand anything. Even if you're born illiterate, passing through/under them will definitely drop something into your brain.
The best thing that can happen to any child is to be under a Catalyst Teacher. And Blessed is any school that have them in bulk, because that school will remain outstanding. They don't need to give their students too many notes, but the children will know more than they'd copied.
This is why it looks like some Schools are better than others. Not withstanding the number of Master's and PhD holders in some Schools, yet some schools with so many people with Degrees and NCEs are doing better. It's not by Certificates, it's by abilities; it's in them.
Conclusion:
Monitor your children, not just their academic performances only, but their intelligence levels and ability to initiate ideas and tackle problems. If not they'll become brilliant dormies
