Here's My Take:
CATALYST(As A Senior Pastor): "There's a point we raised yesterday that I'll like to emphasize on the more. We said yesterday that as a Senior Pastor "it's better to empower any minister under you by opening a branch for him, to encourage him to manifest his gifts. Even if you chose to keep him around you, maybe because of how useful you think he is to your ministry, always give him chances to manifest.
It will make him feel loved, accepted and valued. It will make him think that you actually value and recognize what he has. But when he doesn't see any of those from you, the urge to leave will become so strong. And when such urge comes and it's been suppressed for so long, a time will come it will burst out."
This is one of the reasons why immediately a Senior Pastor goes to be with the Lord, some of his Popular ministers leave the Church to start their own, if they're not handed over the affairs of the Church. Though I know that some persons whether they're pastoring or not, they'll still leave if they're not made the Senior Pastor.
Conclusion:
It's how we handle the people under us make them either reprobate or faithful.

Father May God give us the Grace to discern how to handle the people under us to avoid sowing the seed of reprobate in Jesus name. Amen.
