Topic: CROSSING SPIRITUAL BOUNDARY
Word: Hebrews 10:31 NLT
It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Here's My Take:
WHAT TO DO TO AVOID CROSSING
1. Defend what is right, and avoid following crowd of discouragements:
But the other men who had explored the land with him disagreed. “We can’t go up against them! They are stronger than we are!” So they spread this bad report about the land among the Israelites: “The land we traveled through and explored will devour anyone who goes to live there. All the people we saw were huge. We even saw giants there, the descendants of Anak. Next to them we felt like grasshoppers, and that’s what they thought, too!”
Two of the men who had explored the land, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, tore their clothing. They said to all the people of Israel, “The land we traveled through and explored is a wonderful land! And if the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey. Numbers 13:31-33, 14:6-8 NLT
If not that people like Joshua and Caleb was in their midst, that journey would have ended. What is your role in that Church, family, Organization; to discourage or encourage people?
Conclusion:
The least you can do in this Kingdom is to be an encouragement, not a discouragement. The Church is bleeding already, and it doesn't need any discouragement at all.
Song:
There is a race
I must run
There is a Victory to be won
Give me Power every Hour
To be through
Prayer:
Father may I not be the reason why anyone should be discouraged in Jesus name. Amen.
