Topic: CROSSING SPIRITUAL BOUNDARY
Word: Jonah 3:1-3 NLT
Then the Lord spoke to Jonah a second time: “Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh, and deliver the message I have given you.” This time Jonah obeyed the Lord’s command and went to Nineveh, a city so large that it took three days to see it all.
Here's My Take:
WHY DO PEOPLE CROSS SPIRITUAL BOUNDARY:
8. Disobedience: there's something I'll like to address here; I found out one of the reasons people do things they do, or why they don't care even if you tell them the danger of disobedience, is because the times other people disobeyed God, they were expecting to see the wrath of God immediately on them.
And since God didn't send down his might on those people, they now conclude that nothing happens when we disobey God. When we were small, there are things we'll do wrong, my parents will not punish us immediately, but a time will come, they'll gather all we have been doing and punish us severely.
Not all sins of disobedience attract immediate punishment. But if we continue doing them, definitely it will come. Remember, it may not come when we're expecting it. For God doesn't need anyone's permission to do what He want to do and when to do it.
Conclusion:
Just like the case of Jonah, God can give us time to repent and do what He'd told us to do. But this time around, it's not gonna be sweet.
