Here's My Take:
WHY DO PEOPLE CROSS SPIRITUAL BOUNDARY:
1. Ignorance: ignorance can make one Cross Spiritual Boundary, yet it's not an excuse. Let's look at the story of these two thieves that was nailed beside Jesus in the Bible. The Bible said "
One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”
But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:39-43 NIV
The thief didn't talk to Jesus like one who needed help, rather he spoke like one who's ignorant of the man beside him, that's why he was making jest of Him. But the second guy understood Him. That's why he grabbed the opportunity. Crossing Spiritual Boundary is very easy, when you're ignorant.

Most times, ignorance could lead to arrogance if one didn't fine-tune his/her words.
