Topic: CROSSING SPIRITUAL BOUNDARY
Word: Jer 6:16 NIV.
This is what the LORD says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’
Here's My Take:
WHY DO PEOPLE CROSS SPIRITUAL BOUNDARY:
3. Not Learning From The Past Experiences/Mistake: Our anchor Scripture helped us to explain it better, thus “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it."
There's no better way to explain this subject than what we read above. "Ask for the ancient paths"; why did this happen, why life is treating us this way, what was the consequences of those things that happen in the past?!
"Ask what the good way is"; seek for counseling, ask for solutions. What you'll do to avoid such repeating itself again. Seek for help and quick intervention, and "walk in them. And you'll find rest for your souls"(yourself, family and everyone around you).
Conclusion:
Asking questions and finding answers without walking/working in/with them makes no sense. Because it's as though you find nothing.
Song:
We were made to be courageous
And we're taking back the fight
We were made to be courageous
And it starts with us tonight
The only way we'll ever stand
Is on our knees with lifted hands
Make us courageous
Lord, make us courageous
Prayer:
Father help to always do the right thing in Jesus name. Amen.
