Topic: CROSSING SPIRITUAL BOUNDARY
Word: Ecclesiastes 10:8a NIV
whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake.
Here's My Take:
Intro:
Having/keeping boundary is good, but shouldn't be abused. Don't set boundaries that will affect you tomorrow, because some boundaries are capable of chasing potential helpers away. Also, remember that Boundary is not just a physical exercise it's also a spiritual thing.
So, I found something interesting in a write-up by Christinscripture. com, I'll like to share to bless us. It says "God established boundaries that define the world we live in and provide structure to our lives. They keep us living in the real world, not an imaginary world of our own making.
God’s commands are ancient boundaries that keep us on safe paths and provide blessing in our lives. But those who cross them or ignore them do so at their own peril. God set spiritual and moral boundary stones as monuments that, even today we can get our bearings on to keep us on the right paths."
Conclusion:
Boundaries could be selfish, and it could also be selfless. It's all about the reason behind setting it.
Song:
You see all
Still You're searching
For someone who will respond
I'm right here
You sit high
Still You're looking
For somewhere You could abide
I'm right here
I'm the one
You don't have to search no more
Oh, I'm the one You're looking for
When You call me, I will respond, yeah
When You call me, I will respond
When You pull me, I will come running to Your arms
I will respond to You
Prayer:
Father help us to keep spiritual and moral boundaries in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
