4. JESUS: Areas Jesus was Tempted
ii). Humility: the another area Jesus was Tempted was on humility. Jesus was/is a king, that doesn't just have everything, but everything was made by Him, and without Him they will never be made. Yet He left all those things made by Him, and took the place of a pauper.
The poorest King in this world can never relinquish his position and Glory, to become a nobody in His kingdom. But Jesus did more than that. No wonder the devil saw the level of humility in Him, that's why he came to tempt Him by asking him to jump down from the hill. devil didn't know that a servant doesn't test his master.
Jesus displayed humility by accepting to leave His Throne, Honour and Glory, came down to live with his creation, and accepting to die for His creation. Who does that?! Only one man, Jesus. How much can humility allow you to sacrifice for humanity?! Or will pride and arrogance deprive you that?!
Conclusion:
Next time someone around you is confused why the name Jesus carry so much Power, to heal, to restore, to provide, etc, just tell(show) him/her what it took Him to get to that point.
