Men That Overcame Temptation:
1. Abraham: Our Dearly Father Abraham is the first in our list, because before him there was no record of anyone that overcame temptation; the ones we heard came after him. Before we continue, understand that temptations are good.

Yes, Temptations are good, though the process may be very very painful and tough. Anyone that understands the importance of temptations in our spiritual and physical journey(life) doesn't pray against temptation. Rather s/he prays for the Grace to overcome.

No student prays to God to cause his/her teachers not to give him/her exam, instead s/he prays for the Grace to write well and pass. Likewise us, we don't pray that temptation/s shouldn't come, instead we pray for Grace to overcome. Another thing is that we do not determine the kinda temptation that will come to us; we work with what we see.

Conclusion:
The truth is whether we like it or not, it's obvious that temptation/s must come. That's why it's important to get your heart prepared.
