The Psalmist didn't say he'll praise the Lord only when things are going well with him. Don't inculcate the habit of praising/thanking God only when life is smiling on you.
Praise/thank Him always with all your heart, whether life is going your direction or not. For he inhabit the praises of His people he knows how to turn things around.
Also Remember that JESUS CHRIST IS COMING BACK SOON. Let it not come to you as a surprise!!
