SAPPHIRA:

Eguh Nnamdi's Nugget

Topic: SAPPHIRA

Word: Acts 5:4 KJV

Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

Here's My Take:

WHERE TO FIND SAPPHIRAS ?

4. CHURCH:

I told us yesterday that one of the things to know about SAPPHIRA is that they'll try to talk you out of God's Divine purpose(blessings, favour, directions, etc) for your life using sentiments, or every means whatsoever, even quoting the Scripture for you.

A colleague called my attention about another colleague that was trying to convince him not to give his tithe; he gave his reasons, backing it up with Scriptures; I remember he quoted Hebrews 7:12. But I helped him and explain it from verse 1. At the end he said that Pastors are mandating people to bring their tithe as if, if they don't they're under a curse. I then asked him to show me that Pastor/s.

Along our discussion I asked one question, hope you won't tell someone not to, he said he'll; he cited example of how he told someone not to, I remembered SAPPHIRA. Listen guys nobody should mandate you to bring your tithe to God's house. But remember that any gift you bring in God's name into his house always has a blessing attached to it. Therefore do not let any soul(not even Angels) to talk you out

Conclusion:

Know that whatever you do in God's name is more spiritual than physical. If Jesus said "Blessed is the hands that gives(including tithe, offering, seed).." then know that that word can never be broken. NB: as we're not under mandatory to give our tithe, we're not also under mandatory to eat it.

Song:

What type of rich man are you

Who doesn't care about the poor people?

What type of rich man are you

Who doesn't care about the helpless people?

There you read it in the Bible

But don't understand what it says

It says blessed is the hand that giveth

Than the one that taketh

Blessed is the hand that giveth

Than the one that taketh

Blessed is the hand that giveth

Than the one that taketh

Prayer:

Father help us to understand that everything we do in your name, we do it for our own good in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
