5. Household of Faith: Yesterday, we concluded by saying "The teaching of the Holy Ghost is the teaching of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. After dropping this (the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit), I was directed to notice something.
I noticed that Love was the first fruit that was mentioned there. But why was it the first fruit? I remembered that in the Bible firstfruits offering acknowledged God's ownership of everything, just as God is Love, and has admonish us to Love one another
Also the purpose of the first fruit is to ensure sustainability of blessing on a job, life or business, to ensure favour, continuity and for constant progress to be upon all the endeavour of God's people. Therefore, when we have Love as first fruit, the aforementioned will be seen around us.
Conclusion:
Let's Honour the Lord with our substance and with our first fruits. How? By being affectionate one to the other.
