Where We'll Get Affection:
5. Household of Faith: it has been the mind of God to unite the Church and make it a perfect symbol of Love(Affection) on earth. He first display His Affection by sending His Dear son, Jesus, who came to die on the cross for all, including friends and enemies of God.
He then charged us to Love one another, in words, in action, and in relationship, just as He(Christ) have Loved the Church. This entails that the Church should be seen and known as Love.
But the question is, can this be truly said about church of today? Has this Love and Affection be felt the way it was shown to us? You'll notice that this Love is often preached, but hardly practiced, especially by the us(same people) that preach it.
Conclusion:
If Christ is Love, and we're truly Christ-like, we'll be possessed by the same Love that is found in Christ. Selah.
