Nature is for the benefit of itself; benefit as food, as shelter, as medicine, as protection, etc. Therefore no one should stand against that.
The truth is, human influence affected a whole lot, instead of nature benefiting itself, it turned against itself; this is seen through abortion, deforestation, bush burning, oil spillage, etc. Denying itself access to life and/or a healthy living.
Conclusion:
Human's influence on Nature are born out of selfishness, and it's really driving him insane.
