Here's My Take:
Continued from yesterday's post...just like we said yesterday; we believed that "nwa wu nwa oha niile", meaning that any child is a child of all. No matter the background, how s/he was conceived, no matter how beautiful or ugly s/he is; as much as s/he is a human(child), s/he becomes everyone's responsibility.
This believe enable people(adults) to look out for children; correct those that are erring, and also encourage those that are trying, not to quit.
But today things have changed. People see raising of kids as sole responsibility of their individual parents.
This has caused enough damage in the society. Imagine two people with same mindset living in the same compound, their children will turn to worst. Because non of them will care to correct the others' children. Very bad!!

Conclusion:
Development and modernization shouldn't outshine ones morals. E get why!
