Finally on this subject: one thing you should know is that the importance of every human is never felt, until he's gone. No matter how you were formed, no matter the number of disabilities you came to the world with, you're very very important. Even if you've lost hope on yourself because of the life you've chosen, you're very important. Because even the ones you thought were more important will never know their true importance, not until they're no more.
But it will be so bad and ignorant to allow your importance to be felt when you're no more. Just tell yourself am important and improve.
Judas was a thief, yet he was important. If not that he later killed himself, he would have repented and improved. He would have become better. But the shame of what he did pushed to death.
Never allow shame to detect for you, never allow it to overshadow your thoughts. Whenever it comes, tell yourself am very important and be free! Are you into drugs, sex working, arm robbery, etc, just tell yourself am important. Then you quit. Nobody is more important than the other(disabled or not), it's just the illusions of the mind. But when you refuse turning a new leaf and start doing things right, you'll become unimportant.
Conclusion:
Shame is highly destructive than any chemical you could mention. When you're addicted to it, your end is so very near.
Free yourself from it.
