Some told us a story about a rich man in their village. He said the man was a millionaire in the 80's. As rich as he was, he gave his son a million naira to go and start life. The young man left and began chasing after life. Few years later, he came back with a brand new car. Everybody was happy rejoicing because of the new development.
He called his father and showed him his car. He told his father, you gave me a million naira, but I have been able to get some plots of land in the city, plus this new car. His father responded, really?! As he was saying that, he was looking around. The young man was happy that his father was happy, not until his father grabbed 2x2 plank and smashed the car windscreen and the glasses. He told him, you're not my son, cos you don't have brains. Reason being that he went and get what will not give him returns; once some heats on it, that's the end.
He told him that if he'd(father) started buying cars, does he think he'll have a million naira to give him?
To avoid brook getting dried, there should be a rain; constant rain.
Conclusion:
Brooks are not meant to last forever, but with constant rain, it will.
