Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
Here's My Take:
What can end friendships:
7. Insecurity:
Of course we defined friend as someone you know very well...that doesn't mean he should expose everything about him to you. Have you asked yourself, why is it that sometimes when we're discussing some family matters, we stopped talking or reduce our tone at the sound of the voices of our friends?
This is because there are matters(secrets) that are for personal consumption, there are ones for family(both extended) alone. And there are ones our friends can be part of; since we know them very well, they'll add their own wisdom. Knowing your friend very well and telling him/her everything, ain't the same. There should be little restrictions.
Because, just like it is said in Igbo adage "onye ma madu je egbu ya". Meaning that "it's only the person that knows everything about you that can betray(destroy, eliminate, poison, sell) you.....ust ask Judas Iscariot. A person who doesn't know much about you, won't lay hold on anything
Conclusion:
In as much as you trust and rely on anyone as friend, never forget that best friend can turn to worst foe. It's a matter of time!
Song:

When Messiah Comes
To Take Us Home
May His Praise
Be Found In You

Father may my friendship never destroy me. Amen
