GOODBYE(Why Do People Say Goodbye:)

Topic: GOOD BYE

Word: Psalms 133:3 NLT

Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.

Here's My Take:

Why do people say goodbye?

1. When they're tired of you:

I have come to understand that people have one or two reasons why they attend Church service. Or should I say one or two reasons why they come into God's presence. These reasons could be..

Because of the act of praise/worship

Because of the levels of miracles(signs and wonders)

Because of the pattern of the Church rituals

Because of the size of the auditorium

Because of the calibers of people that attend the Church

Because of the way the Church was decorated

Because the Church is popular

Because they're related to the owner

Because of marriage bond

Because of the sermon

Because the Church is very close

Because they close early

Because it's the only Church within

Because it's their parents Church

Because the Church give incentives

Etc.

Whatever be the reason is personal and shouldn't be misunderstood. But when the Church isn't exciting, Spiritually and physically, members will get tired and they'll leave.

To be continued..

Conclusion:

It's true that no Church has a permanent member, but the way members are handled and taken care of will determine if they'll be permanent or say goodbye. No one wants to go/be where he's not valued!

Song:

So we worship you

Almighty God

You're lifted up

Above all

Prayer:

Father whatever be the reasons why your people come to your presence, please let them bring Glory to your name. Amen.
