Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

Here's My Take: 

Why do people say goodbye?

1. When they're not engaged or when they're over engaged.

Finally on this subject..

Masters treat your servants well and give them whatever support they needed. Your work is to train and support. Because you have eternal share in any soul they win for Christ. Don't over engage them, least the act prodigal in their treat. Treat them well and you'll be well, care for them and you'll be cared for. Love them and you'll be loved. Help them and you'll be served well.

And to us servants, let's ask ourselves this questions; personally; what do I want to be, who do I want to be, where do I want to be tomorrow? These questions when answered will help us know how to relate to the Generals ahead of us; how we talk about them, what we say about them, what we think about them and how we respect them.

Any son that wants to go far must first cherish his father. Must appreciate and accept him and his roles. He must respect and honour him since he knows that where his father is, that's where he'll be tomorrow. Every Servant Leader that wish to become great tomorrow, must respect and honour those ahead of him; those he's under. And honour will follow him.

Conclusion:

Respect birth respect. Honour birth honour. When we do the right thing, we'll be at the right place at the right time.
