Why do people Camouflage?

3. Because they won't benefit:

I went with a friend of mine to his fiance place for their traditional marriage. He ensured that everything in the list was provided. But because of greed some of the villagers was insisting on a particular thing which I fathom. I tried to understand what was their problem, especially one particular man that was ranting, I was told that they were angry because the lady we came for was the last to get married in that family. Because of that, they chose to suck every penny that should have been neglected.

They have found out that if they miss this one, they'll never benefit from that family again. And you may be surprised to know that those who are doing this are those whose daughters have married, while some doesn't have any; knowing fully well that such heavy demands will not be made in their families again.

My advice to parents with Daughters, be careful with this umunna(village people) most of their intentions are not for your good. When they make heavy demands, talk. Don't keep quiet, talk, it's your daughter! They're just after their interests, not yours.

And also be careful when you join in making heavy demands on other's children, because yours is waiting...

 

Conclusion:

Wisdom is profitable to direct. Never let injudicious men launch their greed on your supposedly in-laws. Because na you go cry, not them.
