Friendship is not compulsory, neither is it a must that you'll remain in that friendship. Once a friendship began to shift you from God's Devine purpose for your life, withdraw! I said withdraw! There's a course for that. Friendships are one of the tools the devil use to shift young ministers from their Devine purposes. Especially when those friendships are formally in-line with such purpose, but because they have lost hope of the Glory that is far ahead...which only consistent men will get it... they'll withdraw from the race.

Such friendships can discourage you, because they have no hope of getting up and run along, they'll decide to carry you along in their own downgrade. And since you're the only one standing, you may join them unconsciously. 

Therefore in ministry, friendship is good, but what friendship is that? Of what benefit is it to you and your future. Having friendship with like minds will help you align well and flow. When s/he flows you'll flow, and when you flow s/he will flow. One will surely stand strong when the other is weak and vice versa

Conclusion:

But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Jude 1:20 KJV

But if he found himself where no one helps to build him up, but pull him down. Then know that his Oil(ministry) will dry(come to an end.)
