Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.

3. This is a person that failed to commend your goodness, but never stopped talking about your flaws:

I once served under a Leader who always yell at us, his co-labourers, anytime he comes to address us. He'll always complain about those areas we didn't do well but fail to recognize wherever we did well and encourage us. As a leader, he didn't know that encouragements gives strength while discouragement saps strength. He continued doing that, until the day we complained about it. He said "I want y'all to do better".

How can we do well and better, when we have not been told the areas we did well, so that we'll continue on that, while we strive to do more/better on other areas?

If when we were in school, our teachers didn't put(score) good and/or bad on our answer booklets, how on Earth would we have known the ones we fail and the ones we passed?

This is what every Leader should know. First encourage your officials, point out where they did well and where they didn't. Find out why, and encourage them.

Just like Efy Leadership Gist, ELG will say will always say, "everything rises and falls on leadership".

As a Leader you should know that your silence is as important as every word you dropped. Every Leader should know that, the areas you chosed to ignore counts just as the areas you pointed out. Don't just do something because you thought it's ok with you, without first considering it's effect on your followers.

Conclusion:

Haphazardly isn't a quality of a good Leader. If you gonna say something, say it all. And if you gonna do something, do it all.
