Topic: THE DIRECTION - Relationship Direction
Word: Isaiah 30:21 NKJV
Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.
Here's My Take:
WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT RELATIONSHIP DIRECTION:
4. It teaches boundaries.
Loving people does not mean allowing everyone to cross every boundary. Healthy relationships require wisdom, respect, communication, and appropriate boundaries.
5. It helps us understand seasons.
Not every relationship is permanent. Some people come into our lives for a particular season, assignment, lesson, or purpose. Relationship direction helps us recognize when a relationship should be maintained, adjusted, or released.
6. It prevents loneliness-driven decisions.
Sometimes people enter wrong friendships or relationships simply because they are afraid of being alone. Direction teaches us that being alone for a season is better than being connected to the wrong people.
Conclude:
People that don't know how to manage their loneliness always end up with wrong people. Relationship Direction teaches how to adjust during lonely moments.
Song:
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer!
Prayer:
Oh Lord help me to know what to do during lonely moments of my life in Jesus’ name, Amen.
