Maturity is not determined by age or by the gray hairs on one's head. It is revealed through reasoning, character, and attitude.
Many people are advanced in age but still childish in their reasoning. This is why you may find an older man in his sixties pursuing young ladies in their early twenties for inappropriate relationships. Likewise, you may see an older woman dressing and behaving like a teenager, leaving people to wonder what is going on.
Just as maturity affects every stage of our physical development, it should also be reflected in our reasoning, decisions, attitude, and conduct.
True maturity is not measured by how long a person has lived, but by how much wisdom, self-control, and sound judgment they have acquired along the way.
