“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
These are some of the most powerful verses in Scripture. They remind us that no matter how much we claim to know and love God, if we do not love the people around us, then we do not truly know or love Him.
You cannot claim to love the Father and hate His children—or the other way around. It doesn’t work that way.
If you truly love Him, that love will be reflected in how you treat others. Love for God is proven by love for people.
