“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
Two categories of people that will receive power to become sons of God are
- i). as many as received him, and
- ii). them that believe on his name
But who received without believing and who believed without receiving? Whether you believed first before receiving or vice versa, what is paramount is to become a son of God.
